St. Clare Council was founded the 28th of February 2001 through the efforts of
Ed Tweed and Father Colin Macdonald. It is named after St. Clare who, with
the assistance of St. Francis of Assisi, was the founder of the order of nuns
known as "Poor Clare" and is the patron saint of our church. The
St. Clare Council works closely with the St. Clare Parish in the City of Roseville
and Antelope, providing volunteer services to the parish and various charities
throughout the community.
